Introducing the Chaparral Scarf.

Inspired by shrubland plant landscape found in many areas of south and west portions of the United States, the Chaparral Scarf can be worn a variety of cozy ways — wrapped once, twice, or draped over the shoulders. The chunky, squishy texture works up quickly and is the warmth you'll reach for on cold winter days.
Fit + Sizing
One Size: 12" wide x 73" long
As written, you'll need:
approximately 790 yds of a category 5 bulky weight yarn.
Other materials you'll need:
6.5mm crochet hook
I used Lion Brand Woolspun, which is currently discontinued. It would be quite easy to substitute any other category 5 bulky weight yarn (and some category 6 bulky weight yarns) for this pattern. Some recommendations:
basic sts and st combos
understanding of **, ( ), and/or [ ]
following a pattern with minimal or no photo references
experience reading a pattern
